Annual Bike Walk Week

Twin Cities Bike Walk to Work Week was a huge success. Over 2,500 people participated region-wide by biking or walking to work. The week-long event provided a great reason to try biking and walking as transportation & one in ten participants had never biked or walked to work!

Taking Bikes on Buses & Trains

All Metro Transit buses* and trains have bike racks so you can pedal for part of your trip and ride for the rest.

Visit our Commuter Connection store to try out a demonstration bike rack and pick up a bike map!

*Some State Fair buses are not equipped with bike racks.

Twin Cities Bicycling Club

TCBC is the largest recreational bicycling club in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.  Members are typically adult bicyclists who enjoy group riding but don't want to race. They have rides and fun for all skill levels.

They also publish a Bike Atlas that' now in it's seventh edition!
