The Grand Rounds is comprised of seven byway districts and provides access to over 50 miles of hiking, biking, skiing and driving paths.
Byway Districts:
Downtown Riverfront - 1.2 miles of trails.
Mississippi River - 9.2 miles of trails.
Minnehaha - 12.6 miles of trails
Chain of Lakes - 13.3 miles of trails
Theodore Wirth - 4.0 miles of trails
Victory Memorial - 3.8 miles of trails
Northeast - 6.0 miles of trails
The Cedar Lake Trail is a paved, off-road bicycling path that connects St. Louis Park with Downtown Minneapolis. It is also connected to the Chain of Lakes.
The Kenilworth Trail is a paved, off-road path that runs along the east side of Cedar Lake and connects the Midtown Greenway with the Cedar Lake Trail. It is also connected to the Chain of Lakes .
The Midtown Greenway is a paved, off-road path that connects the Cedar Lake and Kenilworth trails and the Chain of Lakes with the Mississippi River. West of Hiawatha Avenue, this corridor runs along 29th Street. East of Hiawatha Avenue, its runs along 27th Street.
